Beauty calls me to make art, and usually occurs as a surprise, whether it is inside the world of nature, patterns, music, texture. Whatever form it takes becomes an essential aspect of myself.
I was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut shortly after the Great Depression. I moved to New York City after graduating from the University of Connecticut. After two years I relocated to San Francisco, and ultimately reinvented myself in the mid-60s, eventually leaving the corporate world and uncovering my life as an artist - becoming a haircutter (sculpting), massage therapist and somatic body worker, hand analyst and life purpose coach, a painter of rocks, canvas, silk and paper and most recently as a jewelry designer.
I've created this store to share my art with you as
I pay attention to what's in front of me.
